Michon Lartigue is a Writer, Coach, and Speaker. Her work revolves around a heart-felt desire to help individuals and institutions tap into their strengths and gain clarity in achieving goals.
Michon’s core mission is to highlight issues that are difficult to address and to infuse more inspiration into the world. She works to contribute to and facilitate healing in our individual lives, in our professional sectors, and in our communities. With over 20 years of experience working with nonprofits, small companies, and individuals, Michon has developed a wide range of exceptional skills that support her goal of providing effective and meaningful services to her clients.
As a Coach, Michon provides personal life coaching either for individuals or in group settings. Her work with men and women is focused on a wholistic model that provides clarity and a tailored path for moving forward. She is a Certified Life Coach through the Transformation Coaching Academy, and utilizes tools based on her training, as well as over 10 years of learning and practicing approaches used to transform her own life and the lives of her clients.
Michon also provides coaching services for institutions or individuals who need Fundraising and Development support for their artistic, education, or social justice work. She has over 15 years of experience in fundraising and has helped numerous organizations and clients increase revenue for events, expand funding streams, and win countless successful grant awards.
Michon’s work as a Writer and Speaker provides a creative flair and approach to her coaching work and is the primary vehicle for her own creative projects. She tackles key issues that are often difficult to address such as-- grief, race, transformation, caregiving, cancer, generational and intergenerational issues, self-care, family dynamics, the reality of work/life balance, and surviving and transcending loss. Her creative projects can be found on her website, blog, and in her social media platforms.
Michon sits on the board of City Blossoms, an urban gardening organization and is also a volunteer for other organizations that serve youth in Washington, DC. She’s a proud auntie, loves reading, films, museums, dancing, and is a fan of media in all its various platforms.
